The QCTA was mentioned in the May 1-7 issue of the Hippo Press. The edition featured a look at how the future of bicycling will effect the city of Manchester. The article mentioned how the rail trail that the QCTA is involved with will tie into an even larger statewide project to convert abandoned railroad beds to rail trails.
The QCTA was given the blessing of the Manchester planning board for the first stage of the trail which runs from South Beech street to Nutts pond. This is a very important step for the future of the trail.
John St. Hilaire, the Chairman of the QCTA was interviewed for the August 14-20 issue of the Hippo Press. The future trail is also mentioned for Urban Hiking. Read the entire interview here.
